Mount Vernon

It’s a hard to imagine a more uplifting experience than visiting George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens in Virginia. One of the great honors of my life was to be asked to do the welcoming video at the new Ford Orientation Center. (And I look pretty good in breeches!) Mount Vernon is the most popular historic estate in America, and it’s located just 16 miles south of Washington, D.C. It’s open seven days a week, every day of the year, including holidays and Christmas.
